Ms exchange automatic reply shell command

Ms exchange or Microsoft exchange OOF… Often you will have to set Automatic replies on and off.  No doubt this can be done using Microsoft outlook.  What if you want to automate this process, say every week Friday ON and Monday OFF?

If you host your own Ms Exchange Mail server, you can definitely achieve this.  All you have to do is create a shell script *.ps1 and create a task scheduler to turn it on or off, voila!  Below is command that can help you to achieve this

Set-MailboxAutoReplyConfiguration -Identity <user MAILBOX> -AutoReplyState Enabled/Disabled -InternalMessage “I’m simply away today” -ExternalMessage “External autoreply message

For a task scheduler simply at this on the top of your script.
